Accountant
Job Description
This role will involve handling UAE VAT and corporate tax compliance, manage intercompany transactions, and preparing financial and management reports across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will work with clients and entities located in Australia, Europe, BVI and other international jurisdictions, requiring strong attention to detail, advanced Excel capability, and experience with international accounting systems. Experience within real estate, property development, or construction environments will be highly regarded.
Experience
• 3–5 years accounting experience
• Experience with UAE VAT filing and corporate tax compliance
• Experience managing intercompany and multi-entity accounting
• Exposure to real estate, property development, or construction accounting preferred
Technical Skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong experience with QuickBooks and MYOB
• Ability to prepare management reports and financial analysis
Core Competencies

• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
• Ability to understand financial implications of contracts
• Comfortable working with international clients and multi-entity structures
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA are an advantage
Responsibilities Duties:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Manage the full accounting cycle from transaction entry through to financial statements.
• Record invoices, expenses, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Maintain general ledger records across multiple entities.
• Perform bank, supplier, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
VAT & Corporate Tax
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns.
• Prepare and submit UAE corporate tax filings.
• Maintain documentation required for tax compliance and audits.
Intercompany & International Accounting
• Manage intercompany transactions across multiple companies.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and adjustments.
• Maintain clear documentation for cross-border financial activity.
Financial & Management Reporting
• Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
• Develop customised reporting and financial analysis.
• Prepare cash flow reports and forecasts
Software & Systems
• Maintain accounting records using:
• QuickBooks
• MYOB (for Australian clients)
• Other ERP systems where required
Advanced Excel Reporting
• Prepare reports and dashboards using:
• Payroll & Operational Accounting.
• Process and maintain payroll records.
• Prepare invoices using ERP systems and Excel.
• Maintain organised accounting documentation.
Real Estate & Project Accounting
• Review property-related contracts and agreements.
• Support accounting for real estate, property development and construction projects.
