Design Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Design Manager with a strong structural engineering background to join our team. The ideal candidate must have solid technical expertise, proven experience in mega projects, and a strong track record in the GCC region. This role requires excellent interdisciplinary coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including work on mega projects.
- Extensive GCC experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of international and regional design codes and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in design and coordination software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Leading and managing the full design process with a focus on structural engineering.
- Overseeing coordination between structural, architectural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Reviewing and validating design drawings, technical reports, and shop drawings.
- Ensuring timely delivery of design packages in line with project requirements.
- Engaging with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Supporting the construction team with technical input during the execution phase.
