Responsibilities Duties:
• Collect information and news from various sources, such as press conferences, interviews, and field coverage.
• Prepare and write radio reports in a clear and professional style suitable for broadcasting.
• Conduct interviews with public figures, officials, and experts to provide comprehensive media coverage.
• Cover live events from the field and prepare real-time reports reflecting ongoing developments.
• Collaborate with the editorial team and journalists to ensure news accuracy and credibility before broadcasting.
• Monitor breaking news and respond quickly to field developments.
• Utilize modern technological tools in news gathering and audio report preparation.
Specialized Duties
• Prepare field reports tailored to the nature of the radio station (news, cultural, sports, or economic).
• Verify the accuracy of news and information before publishing or broadcasting, according to journalistic standards.
• Handle logistical and technical challenges during field coverage to ensure smooth and professional broadcasting.
• Apply strong voice-over and presentation skills to deliver information engagingly and professionally.
• Use radio equipment such as microphones, recording devices, and live transmission tools efficiently.
• Adhere to the editorial policies and ethical standards of the media organization.
• Act as a backup for program presenters and news anchors when needed.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Senior Radio Manager according to work requirements
