Technical Engineer
Job Description
The Technical Engineer supports the procurement team by providing technical evaluation, specifications review, and coordination with suppliers to ensure materials and equipment meet project requirements and standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or relevant field)
• 3–6 years of experience in procurement or technical support within construction/EPC projects
• Strong understanding of technical specifications and drawings
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic engineering software
Responsibilities Duties:
• Review and verify technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs for procurement activities
• Prepare and issue technical queries to suppliers/vendors
• Evaluate technical submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Coordinate with engineering and site teams for material approvals
• Assist in vendor prequalification and technical assessment
• Support procurement in preparing RFQs and bid evaluations
• Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, codes, and standards
• Maintain technical documentation and records related to procurement
