To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years of work experience partnered with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Candidates must have experience with Dubai-based infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day site activities, ensuring infrastructure construction is executed according to approved plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Monitor and inspect ongoing works related to roads, drainage, utilities (water, electricity, sewage), transportation systems, and communication networks.
- Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and non-compliance with project specifications, providing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure all necessary permits, environmental regulations, and local building codes are adhered to during construction activities.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve on-site challenges and ensure smooth coordination across teams.
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports on site activities, materials, and workforce, providing updates on project status, risks, and delays.
- Conduct quality control and safety audits to ensure infrastructure works meet required standards and specifications.
- Monitor and manage construction budgets, tracking costs and identifying any discrepancies or variances to maintain cost control.
- Support the testing and commissioning of infrastructure systems once construction is complete, ensuring proper functionality and integration.
