ARABIC - Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator with a strong background in interior and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be Arabic-speaking, detail-oriented, and capable of managing cost planning, estimation, and commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience in interior fit-out / finishing works
- Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and fit-out construction methods
- Proficiency in Excel, PlanSwi or similar estimating software
- Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written); English proficiency required
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred
- Experience in commercial, residential, retail, or hospitality fit-out projects
- Familiarity with local market rates and suppliers
- Experience working with contractors or fit-out companies
Responsibilities Duties:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender doents for interior and fit-out projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Conduct material take-offs and pricing
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Manage cost control, variations, and final accounts
- Assist in tender submissions and contract negotiations
- Monitor project budgets and report cost variations
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams
