Our International Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Architectural Project Manager to join their team in Dubai to work on a high profile hospitality and resort projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Architectural Project Manager on high profile hospitality and resort projects in the UAE and beyond. Candidates must have worked for a recognised architectural or design consultancy previously
This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract position as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting.
Project Manager Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Licensed Architect (or in progress) strongly preferred.
• A highly experienced professional with 11-15 years experience, and a strong track record of managing international architectural projects
• Knowledge of delivering hospitality (specifically), residential and commercial is a plus.
• Project Management Professional or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proficient in (not limited to) - Adobe Creative Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat…), Artificial Intelligence tools
• Proficient in (not limited to) scheduling software - Primavera P6 (or the latest version), MS projects
• Proficient in (not limited to) documentation Software – Aconex, SharePoint OneDrive
• Proficient in (not limited to) documentation and review Software – Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam
• Thrive working in a fast-paced, collaborative design studio environment.
• Occasional travel for client meetings, site visits, and team coordination as needed.
Responsibilities Duties:
• Develop comprehensive project work plans and schedules while ensuring adherence to contractual durations in collaboration with the Project Director.
• Manage project scope and deliverables from concept design through construction documentation and administration.
• Monitor project progress against the budget, making adjustments to maintain alignment with goals.
• Manage Resource Planning, optimizing team allocations for efficient project delivery
• Facilitate the integration of multidisciplinary design inputs, ensuring coordinated and conflict-free project documentation.
• Drive project setup and closeout procedures, including documentation handover, lessons learned reviews, and performance evaluations.
• Adopt an understanding of (not limited to) complex drawings, technical details, specifications, and design principles.
• Experienced in Design and Technical Design Management, ensuring seamless coordination between all disciplines and deliver a consistent package at every milestone of the project.
• Oversee development of architectural drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, accuracy, and code compliance.
• Provide guidance on design detailing, constructability, and material selection.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines and specialty consultants to ensure coordinated, integrated design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable (not limited to) local and international building codes, zoning regulations, ADA guidelines, sustainability and wellness requirements
