Laundry Ironer
Job Description
The Laundry Ironer is responsible for pressing, ironing, and finishing garments, linens, uniforms, and other fabrics to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards. The role involves operating ironing and pressing equipment, handling fabrics with care, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, and supporting efficient laundry operations in hotels, hospitals, commercial laundries, or hospitality establishments.
Required Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent preferred.
- Basic knowledge of fabric types, garment care instructions, and ironing techniques.
- Ability to operate steam irons, pressing equipment, and laundry machinery safely.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities Duties:
Key Responsibilities
- Iron and press garments, uniforms, linens, and other textile items according to quality standards.
- Operate steam irons, pressing machines, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect fabrics for stains, damages, or defects before and after ironing.
- Sort laundry items according to fabric type, size, and ironing requirements.
- Fold, package, and prepare finished items for delivery or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry and ironing area.
- Ensure proper handling of delicate fabrics and special care items.
- Report damaged equipment or maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Follow health, safety, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist with general laundry operations and perform other duties as assigned.
