Finishing Works Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finishing Works Foreman to oversee and manage all finishing activities on our construction sites in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure that finishing works are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards, while coordinating closely with the project team and subcontractors.
- Proven experience as a Foreman in finishing works within the construction industry, preferably in the UAE region.
- Strong knowledge of finishing processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct workers.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages like Arabic are a plus.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to various site locations as required.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, tiling, and other related tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on site.
- Schedule and monitor daily activities to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
- Manage and lead a team of skilled workers and subcontractors in finishing activities.
- Inspect and report on the progress of works, identifying any issues and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure specifications and expectations are met.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to finishing works and site activities.
- Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
