Airless Spray Painter
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Airless Spray Painters to carry out painting and protective coating works on bridge structures in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience using airless spray painting equipment as well as roller painting techniques for steel and concrete structures while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
1) Minimum 5 years of experience as an Airless Spray Painter.
2) Proven experience in both airless spray painting and roller painting.
3) Experience in painting steel structures, bridges, industrial facilities, marine structures, or heavy construction projects is preferred.
4) Ability to prepare surfaces and apply protective coating systems.
5) Good understanding of paint mixing, coating thickness, and quality requirements.
6) Physically fit to work outdoors and at heights when required.
7) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities Duties:
1) Perform surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, grinding, and masking prior to painting.
2) Apply primers, intermediate coats, and finish coats using airless spray equipment.
3) Carry out painting works using rollers where required to achieve the specified coating thickness and finish.
4) Operate, maintain, and clean airless spray painting equipment and accessories.
5) Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
6) Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups as required.
7) Ensure the correct application of protective coating systems in accordance with project specifications.
8) Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe handling of paints and solvents.
9) Maintain a clean and organized work area.
10) Report equipment defects or quality issues to the supervisor.
