Business Development Specialist
Job Description
The ideal candidate will have:
* 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, business development or a related commercial role.
* Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and online customer journeys.
* Good knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO and digital marketing.
* Familiarity with AI marketing tools and emerging digital technologies.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Proven ability or strong potential in B2B sales and relationship development.
* Confidence approaching new clients and arranging meetings.
* Ability to explain digital systems clearly to non-technical customers.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret marketing and e-commerce performance data.
* Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
* Fluent spoken and written English.
* UAE experience and an existing network within the interior design, architecture, furniture or property sectors would be a significant advantage.
Responsibilities Duties:
A major part of this position will be developing our relationships with the interior design and professional design community in the UAE.
Responsibilities include:
* Identify and approach interior designers, architects, design studios and relevant trade professionals.
* Present the company’s digital services and e-commerce capabilities to potential professional clients.
* Demonstrate how our online trade ecosystem can simplify product selection, quotations, ordering, payments and commission management.
* Onboard new professional users and ensure they understand how to use the available tools effectively.
* Maintain relationships with registered designers and encourage continued engagement and purchasing.
* Follow up on quotations, opportunities and potential projects.
* Convert professional registrations and enquiries into active customers and sales.
* Develop a strong network within Dubai’s interior design and architecture community.
* Represent the company professionally at meetings, presentations, networking events and industry activities.
