Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, specializing in the railway, construction, tunnel, station, and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial health of our projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting within the construction or infrastructure sectors, ideally including railway or tunneling projects.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets specific to construction and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and other departments to track project costs and budgets.
- Conduct audits and implement financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and financial activities.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Assist in tax filings and liaise with external auditors as needed.
