Chief Information Officer
Job Description
The Chief Information Officer is responsible for defining and executing a global technology strategy that enables growth, operational excellence, and innovation. Reporting to the CFO, the role provides enterprise-wide leadership across IT operations, digital transformation, cybersecurity, data, and applications in a complex, multi-region environment.
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or similar; MBA preferred
* 20+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
* Proven CIO experience within large, complex, global organisations (USD 500m+ revenue)
* Strong experience in global IT operations, digital transformation, and cybersecurity
* Demonstrated ability to influence Boards and executive leadership teams
* Financial acumen covering budgeting, investment governance, and business cases
* Experience leading large, multicultural teams across multiple regions
* Background in industrial, manufacturing, mining, or asset?intensive environments preferred
Responsibilities Duties:
* Define and execute a global IT and digital strategy aligned to business objectives
* Lead reliable, secure, and scalable IT operations across multiple geographies
* Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation, including cloud, automation, and AI
* Establish and govern cybersecurity, data protection, and information security standards
* Oversee enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRMS) to maximise business value
* Build and lead a high-performing, future-ready global IT organisation
* Manage global IT budgets, investment governance, and vendor performance
* Advise executive leadership and the Board on technology risks and opportunities
