Job Description
This is a hands-on corporate legal role supporting a rapidly expanding international group with a complex, multi-entity structure. Reporting directly to senior legal leadership, the role offers significant autonomy, responsibility, and exposure to global operations and transactions. An energy venture backed by major regional and international shareholders. The business is focused on transforming the energy services sector through technology, innovation, and global investment.
* Qualified lawyer with 5-7 years' post-qualification experience
* Strong background in corporate law from a law firm and/or in-house environment
* Demonstrated experience in corporate governance and multi-entity group structures
* Trained in a common law jurisdiction (UK, US, Canada, Australia or similar)
* Comfortable managing legal workstreams independently with minimal supervision
* Commercially minded with a practical, solution-oriented approach
Responsibilities Duties:
* Manage day-to-day corporate legal matters across the company and its global subsidiaries
* Draft, review, and negotiate high volumes of NDAs and standard commercial agreements
* Oversee corporate governance for 30-50 subsidiaries, primarily US-linked entities
* Prepare and manage board and shareholder resolutions, POAs, and statutory records
* Support share transfers, restructurings, and group-wide corporate actions
* Coordinate M&A transactions from a corporate and governance perspective
* Liaise with external counsel and act as a key legal contact for internal stakeholders
