Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and overseeing electrical systems to ensure the successful completion of various construction projects with adherence to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven 3-5 yrs experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and standards (e.g., DEWA requirements).
- Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Design and develop electrical systems for construction projects in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate electrical designs with overall project plans.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise electrical installations to ensure proper execution and safety compliance.
- Perform calculations and prepare technical documentation, including schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during construction and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure all electrical systems conform to local codes and standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to procure materials and equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site personnel.
