Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Joinery Manufacturing Manager for a well-established organization in the UAE specializing in high-end fit-out, bespoke joinery, furniture, and interior manufacturing.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Experience in joinery manufacturing, furniture production, woodworking, interior fit-out, or bespoke manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing joinery production and factory operations.
• Strong experience in production planning, manpower management, workflow management, and capacity planning.
• Good understanding of joinery manufacturing processes and factory operations.
• Experience working with CNC machinery and woodworking equipment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, material management, production efficiency, and cost control.
• Experience managing production teams, supervisors, skilled craftsmen, and factory personnel.
• Strong ability to coordinate with project, procurement, design, and site teams.
• Good problem-solving, decision-making, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple production requirements while maintaining quality and delivery schedules.
• GCC experience, particularly within the UAE, will be an advantage.
   

Responsibilities Duties:

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day manufacturing operations, manage production planning and factory resources, lead production teams, and ensure joinery projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

• KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and oversee daily joinery and manufacturing operations within the factory.
• Develop and monitor production schedules based on project requirements and delivery timelines.
• Plan manpower, machinery, materials, production capacity, and workflow requirements.
• Supervise production supervisors, carpenters, machine operators, craftsmen, and other factory personnel.
• Monitor the complete manufacturing process, including cutting, CNC operations, woodworking, assembly, finishing, and quality inspection.
• Ensure production targets, project deadlines, quality standards, and productivity objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate closely with Project Management, Procurement, Design, Estimation, and Site teams.
• Review production drawings, specifications, material requirements, and project priorities with relevant teams.
• Monitor raw material utilisation and minimise production waste and unnecessary costs.
• Identify production bottlenecks, delays, and operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor factory productivity, manpower utilisation, machine performance, and overall production efficiency.
• Establish and maintain appropriate quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
• Ensure completed joinery items meet approved drawings, specifications, finishes, and quality requirements before dispatch.
• Coordinate production priorities according to project schedules and site requirements.
• Maintain proper factory procedures, housekeeping, safety practices, and operational discipline.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
• Prepare and review production reports, schedules, productivity data, and operational updates.
• Manage and develop production teams to maintain a skilled, productive, and accountable workforce.
• Ensure effective coordination between factory operations and site installation teams.
• Support the successful delivery of multiple joinery and fit-out projects simultaneously.
