Job Description
Major contracting company located in Saudi Arabia require an experienced Project Director to oversee a major Rail construction project in a semi remote location. Candidates should have a BSc in Civil Engineering and at least 20-25 years of experience in major infra projects, including a solid background in Rail. To be considered, candidates should have solid experience in working with main contractors and should be willing to work in a semi remote location.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct overall project strategy, governance frameworks, and program execution from design through testing, commissioning, and final handover.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary executive liaison for clients, government authorities, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Financial & Commercial Control: Oversee multi-million-dollar budgets, negotiate prime contracts, manage cost-effective resource allocation, and monitor cash flow.
- Risk & Safety Management: Implement strict safety protocols, evaluate project risks, maintain risk registers, and deploy mitigation strategies to avoid costly delays.
- Team Leadership: Build and supervise multicultural project teams, guiding subordinate Project Managers and technical leads.
