Lifting Supervisor
Job Description
We are looking for a Lifting Supervisor to join a major infrastructure project in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating lifting and rigging activities on site, ensuring all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved lifting plans, project procedures, and HSE requirements.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid LEEA Appointed Person certification
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in lifting operations within civil, infrastructure, airport, bridge, metro or other large-scale construction projects
- Strong experience with mobile/crawler crane operations, rigging activities, lifting plans, and safe lifting procedures
- Good understanding of site HSE requirements and lifting safety standards
- UAE or GCC project experience is preferred.
- Candidates available on short notice will be prioritize.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities, ensuring operations are carried out safely and in line with approved lifting plans and procedures.
- Oversee mobile and crawler crane operations, including the safe and proper use of lifting equipment, accessories, and rigging gear.
- Coordinate with site engineers, crane operators, riggers, and project teams to ensure lifting activities are properly planned and safely executed.
- Monitor lifting operations in compliance with project specifications, risk assessments, method statements, and site HSE requirements.
- Inspect lifting equipment and rigging accessories, identify potential hazards, and ensure any unsafe practices or conditions are immediately addressed.
