Chief Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Electrical Engineer to lead our electrical engineering division in Dubai's dynamic construction industry. The successful candidate will oversee electrical system design, implementation, and maintenance to ensure projects exceed safety and quality standards while meeting deadlines and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field;
- Professional engineering license or certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical design software and modern electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with UAE electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Lead and manage the electrical engineering team to deliver high-quality design and execution of electrical systems for construction projects.
- Develop and review electrical plans, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to maintain safety and functionality.
- Implement best practices and innovative technologies to improve efficiency and sustainability in electrical engineering processes.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local codes, industry standards, and company policies.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory approvals.
